Remedial Massage

Remedial Massage therapy is designed to address specific problems associated with chronic muscular pain, injury rehabilitations, sporting and occupational injuries, RSI, and physical and mental fatigue.

Using a variety of techniques massage assists the body's natural ability to heal itself. It tones and relieves muscle tension preventing injuries; also helps clear muscles of lactic and uric acid that build up during exercise. Massage stimulates the immune system; improves lymph drainage and increases circulation, therefore improves the delivery of oxygen and nutrients to all body cells.

Target tissues for treatment may include muscles, tendons, ligaments, skin, joints, or other connective tissue, as well as lymphatic vessels, and/or organs.
